Allow for interface with inexpensive 3D capture rigs (Perception Neuron) AND facial capture.

This would necessitate an elaborate puppet setup, but to me this is the ultimate goal, to do a live, moving performance and render that to a 2D (not 3D) puppet with multiple replacement parts depending on limb/head/body orientation.  The closer we can get to an actor just performing (even if that means spending a bit more on hardware)  then the more useful the software will be.  The less real time it gets, and the more multipass it gets, I just don't see much of a benefit (other than fast rigging) to doing it in AE.
