Compact project data format

My test project with 6 puppets and about 20 recordings takes up little disk space, but consists of 27.000 very small files. That makes online backupslike BackBlaze and network sync (laptop and desktop) very slow. It takes 20 minutes to sync all these files over my network. Is there a way to create a container for all these little files?

Also: I love auto-save, but setting the savepath once for new projects might be nice. I never use user > documents.

    This is a must fix.

It is very cumbersome to backup/move projects. If they cannot all be put in a container for performance reasons, I'd at least like a quick option (within the UI) to compress the project into one file that can be easily moved or backed up. Right now I'm doing that manually as a .zip file.

File > New Project... / Open Project... / Save Project As... should all default to the directory of your most recently used project.

We are planning on consolidating the thousands of files down to just one (within the Ch Data folder).
